Terms of service

1. Who these terms cover

These terms are between you and WebVue, a digital agency registered in Lebanon with offices at Jdeideh 19 Center, 11th Floor, Beirut. They apply when you browse this website and when you engage us for work.

Where you sign a proposal, statement of work or service agreement with us, that document takes priority over these terms on anything it covers.

2. Using this website

You're welcome to read, share and link to anything here. Please don't copy our content, case studies or page designs for your own commercial use, attempt to breach or scan our systems, scrape the site at scale, or submit false details through our forms.

The site is provided as it is. We keep the information current but don't promise it is complete or error-free, and we may change or remove pages without notice.

3. Quotes and scope

Prices shown on this site are indicative starting points. A binding price comes from a written quote, valid for 30 days from the date we send it.

Every quote lists what's included. Work outside that list — extra pages, new features, additional rounds of design beyond those agreed — is quoted separately and starts only once you approve it in writing. We won't do unbilled work and then invoice you for it.

4. Payment

If an invoice is more than 30 days late we may pause work and suspend hosted services after giving you notice. Work resumes once the account is settled.

5. What we need from you

Projects run to schedule when content, feedback and approvals arrive on time. You agree to give us the text, images and access we ask for, and to nominate one person who can approve work on your behalf.

You confirm that any material you send us — logos, photography, copy, fonts, data — is yours to use or properly licensed. If a project stalls on your side for more than 60 days we may close it, invoice for work completed, and re-quote the remainder.

6. Ownership

Once the final invoice is paid, you own the deliverables: designs, code written for you, content we produced, and the domain and accounts in your name. We hand over what you need to run or move the site.

We keep ownership of our own tooling, internal libraries, boilerplate and methods, which we license to you for use in your project without restriction. Unless you ask us not to, we may show finished work in our portfolio.

7. Third-party services

Projects often rely on platforms and services we don't control — payment gateways, hosting providers, content platforms, marketing and analytics tools. Their own terms and pricing apply, and they may change their features, fees or availability. We choose reputable providers and will help you deal with problems, but we can't be responsible for their outages, policy changes or price increases.

8. Hosting and support

Hosting and care plans cover the scope described in your plan: uptime monitoring, backups, updates and a set amount of change work each month. Unused time doesn't roll over. Response times are working-hours targets, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Beirut time, with urgent outages handled as soon as we see them.

Either side can cancel a recurring service with 30 days' written notice. We'll provide a full export of your site and data on request.

9. Liability

We do our work with reasonable care and skill. We don't guarantee specific commercial outcomes — search rankings, traffic volumes, conversion rates or revenue — because those depend on factors outside our control.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the work in question during the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data beyond our backup obligations, or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending an engagement

You can stop a project at any time. We invoice for work completed up to that point and hand over the files. We may end an engagement if payment stops, if the work turns out to be unlawful, or if communication breaks down to the point where the project can't proceed. Either way, you keep what you've paid for.

11. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute. We'd always rather resolve things by talking first.

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you engage us is the one that applies to your project, and material changes to recurring services are notified by email 30 days before they take effect.
