WordPress is not the problem. How it was built usually is.

Most WordPress sites we are asked to fix look the same underneath: a marketplace theme, a page builder, thirty plugins, three of which do the same thing, no backups, an admin account shared by five people, and a core version two years behind. It works until it does not, and then nobody knows which piece broke it. That is a build problem, not a platform problem.

Built properly, WordPress is an excellent CMS: familiar to editors, flexible for content models, and genuinely easy to hand over. We build custom themes with clean templates, use the block editor or ACF where it makes editing easier, and add a plugin only when it earns its place. The result is a site that loads fast, updates without drama, and can be worked on by any competent developer later.

Do not host WordPress locally

WordPress needs steady uptime and regular updates. We host on managed infrastructure abroad and serve Lebanon through a CDN, so power and ISP problems are not your problem.

Sites nobody has updated

Many Lebanese sites were built years ago by someone no longer reachable. We take over cleanly: credentials recovered where possible, code audited, then hardened.

WordPress in Lebanon: common questions

Is WordPress still a good choice?

Yes, for content-led sites, blogs, and stores where you want control and no platform fees. It needs maintenance, which is the part most businesses skip. Built with few plugins and kept updated, it is stable and easy to hand over.

My WordPress site is very slow. Can it be fixed?

Usually. Most slowness comes from unoptimised images, a page builder, too many plugins and weak hosting, in that order. We measure first, then fix the biggest causes, and tell you honestly if a rebuild would cost less than patching.

My site was hacked. What now?

We take it offline if needed, clean the infection, patch how they got in, rotate credentials, restore from a clean backup and then harden the site. We also check whether Google has flagged it and get that lifted.

Can you take over a site built by someone else?

Yes, and it is a common request. We audit what is there, document it, secure access and then either maintain it or plan a rebuild. We will tell you which is the better use of money.

Should I use a page builder like Elementor?

It is fine for a small site your team edits constantly. For anything larger, builders add weight and lock your content to the tool. We prefer a custom theme with editable blocks, which gives editors freedom without the performance cost.

Can the site be in Arabic and English?

Yes. We set up multilingual WordPress with proper right-to-left support, separate URLs per language and correct hreflang tags so both versions rank in their own market.
