Why support exists

Websites do not fail suddenly. They are left alone until they do.

The site launches, everyone is pleased, and then nothing happens to it for two years. Plugins go out of date. The SSL certificate expires on a Friday. A form stops sending and nobody notices for a month because the enquiries simply stopped arriving. A theme update breaks the layout on mobile only. None of these are dramatic, and all of them cost money quietly.

Support is the unglamorous work that prevents that. Updates applied on a staging copy and checked before they touch the live site. Backups stored off-site, with a restore actually performed so we know it works. Monitoring on uptime, SSL and forms, so a failure reaches us before it reaches your customers. Security patches applied when they are released rather than when there is a problem.

On top of that, plans include real time for changes: new pages, price updates, a banner for a promotion, a new team member. Most businesses do not need a full-time developer, they need a few hours a month from someone who already knows their site. That is what a plan buys, along with a human who answers in your working hours in Arabic, English or French.

Tested restores
A backup you have never restored is a hope, not a backup. We verify ours.
Staging first
Updates are applied and checked on a copy before the live site is touched.
A named person
You deal with someone who knows your site, not a rotating ticket queue.
What's included

What a support plan covers.

01
Updates on staging
Core, plugin and theme updates applied to a staging copy, checked on key pages, then pushed live.
02
Off-site backups
Daily database and weekly file backups stored away from the server, with a documented and tested restore process.
03
Uptime and SSL monitoring
Checks every few minutes, alerts to us first, plus certificate and domain expiry tracking so nothing lapses.
04
Security
Hardening, login protection, malware scanning and patching, with cleanup included if something does get through.
05
Content and small changes
A block of hours each month for page edits, new sections, images, prices and seasonal changes.
06
A monthly report
What was updated, what the traffic looked like, anything that needs a decision, in plain language and one page.
How it runs

How support starts.

AuditWe review the site, hosting, backups, security and access, and list what needs fixing before ongoing support makes sense.
StabiliseOutstanding updates, missing backups and security gaps handled as a one-off so the site starts from a known state.
MaintainMonthly cycle of updates, checks and changes, with monitoring running continuously in between.
ReviewA short quarterly conversation about performance, what changed, and what is worth doing next.
Local detail

Support that fits Lebanon.

We work your hours
A team in Beirut hours, reachable on WhatsApp, email or phone, answering in Arabic, English or French. No overnight ticket queues.
Independent of local infrastructure
Your site, backups and monitoring all sit outside Lebanon, so a power cut at your office or ours changes nothing.
Sites with no documentation
If the previous developer is unreachable, we recover access where possible, document what exists, and take it from there.
Licence renewals in foreign currency
Premium plugins and services need paying abroad. We can hold and renew them so the site is not broken by a failed card charge.
Stores during peak
For e-commerce we tighten monitoring during Ramadan, holidays and sales periods, when downtime costs the most.
Handover ready
Everything we do is documented in your account, so you or another developer can take over at any time without a discovery phase.
What it costs

How plans are priced.

A flat monthly fee based on what the site is and how much change it needs.

Site type
Brochure, content or store
A ten-page company site needs less attention than a store taking orders every day with payment routes to monitor.
Included hours
How much change per month
Plans include a block of hours for edits. More hours, or a faster response commitment, moves the fee.
Starting state
One-off stabilisation
If the site arrives with two years of missed updates and no backups, that catch-up is quoted separately and done once.
Questions

Website support in Lebanon: common questions

Do I need a support plan?

If the site earns you enquiries or orders, yes. Updates, backups and monitoring are cheap compared to a week of downtime or a hacked store. If the site is static and low stakes, a plan may be unnecessary and we will say so.

Can you support a site you did not build?

Yes, that is most of our support work. We audit it first, fix what has to be fixed, then take it on monthly. If the build is too fragile to support responsibly, we will tell you before you pay for a plan.

How fast do you respond?

The same working day for normal requests, and immediately for a site that is down or compromised. You have a named contact rather than a general inbox.

What happens if my site gets hacked?

We take it offline if necessary, clean the infection, close the entry point, rotate credentials and restore from a clean backup. Cleanup is included in support plans rather than billed as an emergency.

Are content changes included?

Yes, up to the hours in your plan. Larger pieces of work, like a new template or a campaign landing page, are quoted separately so the monthly fee stays predictable.

Can I cancel?

Yes, monthly. Every account stays in your name and everything is documented, so leaving means changing administrator, not rebuilding anything.
