Services/Africa

Web design and development across Africa.

We build for African markets the way they are used: mobile-first, light enough for metered data, with mobile money and local aggregators in the checkout rather than a card-only flow.

Regional view

Africa is not one market, and a site built for one country rarely fits the next.

Payment rails, languages, delivery logistics and connection quality differ sharply between Lagos, Nairobi, Kinshasa, Cairo and Casablanca. The common factors are that most traffic is mobile, that data is metered and often expensive, and that mobile money is frequently more relevant than cards. Beyond that, each market needs its own decisions, and treating the continent as a single audience is the usual reason an international site underperforms here.

Our approach is to build one technical foundation that is genuinely fast and light, then localise what matters per market: the payment routes, the currency, the language, the delivery rules and the contact channel. Aggregators like Flutterwave and Paystack cover cards and several local methods across multiple countries, and mobile money is integrated where the operators allow it. The result is a site that can expand into a new country without a rebuild.

Language is the other axis. English and French cover most of the continent’s business traffic, with Arabic essential in North Africa. We build each as a designed view with its own URLs and metadata, so each market can rank on its own terms rather than competing for the same pages.

One base, many markets
A light foundation with payment, currency and language localised per country.
Aggregators plus wallets
Flutterwave or Paystack for cards and local methods, mobile money where available.
Three working languages
English, French and Arabic, each as a designed version.
What's included

What we deliver for African clients.

01
Performance-led build
Hard page weight budgets, compressed imagery and minimal scripts, tested on throttled mobile connections.
02
Local payment routes
Mobile money, Flutterwave or Paystack, cards and bank transfer, chosen per market and tested live.
03
Multi-market structure
Currency, language, delivery and tax handled per country so expansion does not mean a new site.
04
English, French, Arabic
Designed language views with their own URLs, metadata and hreflang, including right-to-left for Arabic.
05
Hosting with regional edge
Cloud hosting abroad with CDN delivery so pages load quickly across the continent, with backups and monitoring.
06
Contact in real channels
WhatsApp and phone designed as primary conversion routes, with tracking to show which pages produce them.
How it runs

How a multi-market project runs.

Prioritise marketsWe agree which countries matter first, and what each needs in payments, language and delivery.
Design the baseMobile-first layouts designed once, with the variations per market identified up front.
Build & localiseFoundation built, then each market’s payment, currency and language layer added and tested live.
Launch & expandLaunch the priority markets, then add the next ones without rebuilding the site.
Regional detail

What differs market to market.

Payment rails
Mobile money dominates in East and Central Africa, card and bank transfer are stronger in parts of North and Southern Africa, and aggregators cover several methods at once. The mix is decided per country.
Data cost and speed
Metered, expensive data is the norm. We treat page weight as a commercial constraint, which is often the single biggest advantage over competitors’ sites.
Language
English, French and Arabic cover most business traffic. Each gets a designed view with its own SEO rather than a translation toggle.
Delivery and addressing
Formal addresses are not always available. We design checkout and delivery flows that work with landmarks, phone confirmation and pickup points.
Currency and pricing
Local currency display where it builds trust, USD where it is the practical unit, and a rate field you control in one place.
Time zones
Most of the continent is within one to three hours of Beirut, so the working day overlaps almost entirely.
What it costs

What changes the price.

Markets
How many countries
Each additional market adds payment, currency, delivery and sometimes language work. The base build is shared.
Payments
Rails per market
Mobile money integrations and aggregator setups are scoped per provider and tested individually.
Languages
One, two or three
Each designed language version is its own build and SEO surface, priced separately.
Questions

Websites for African markets: common questions

Can you integrate mobile money?

Yes, where the operator and your entity allow it. Availability varies by country and provider, so we confirm what you can actually contract for before designing the checkout.

Do you use Flutterwave or Paystack?

Both, depending on the markets you serve. They cover cards and several local payment methods across multiple countries, which makes multi-market expansion considerably simpler.

Where should the site be hosted?

On cloud infrastructure with regional edge delivery, so pages are served close to your visitors without depending on local infrastructure for uptime.

Can one site serve several African countries?

Yes, and that is usually the right architecture: one base build with currency, language, payment and delivery configured per market. Adding a country then does not mean a new project.

Which languages do you work in?

English, French and Arabic, all as designed versions with their own URLs and metadata. Arabic includes proper right-to-left layout.

Why work with a Lebanese agency?

Time zones overlap almost completely, we work in the three languages most African business runs on, and we build for constrained bandwidth as a matter of routine because we do it at home too.
