Before you buy

Start from what the site has to do, not how it should look.

The first question is not how many pages or what colour. It is what the site is for: bring in enquiries, sell products, replace a phone line that never stops ringing, or give a serious buyer a reason to trust you. A site meant to generate leads is structured differently from a catalogue, and both are different from a store. Getting that clear in one sentence saves more money than any design decision.

The second is what you already have. A logo, photography, product data, existing content, a domain, a hosting account, a Google Business Profile, an email setup. Every one of those you already own shortens the project. Every one you need makes it longer, and you should see that cost separately rather than buried in a total.

The third is who maintains it. A site with no owner drifts out of date within a year. Either someone in your team is responsible for content and a developer handles updates, or you buy a support plan. Deciding before launch is much cheaper than discovering it eighteen months later when the site has been quietly broken for a while.

One sentence of purpose
What the site must achieve, agreed before anything is designed.
What you already own
Logo, photos, content, domain, hosting. Each one shortens the project.
Who keeps it alive
Named owner for content, and a plan for updates, from day one.
What's included

What you should expect in a quote.

If any of these are missing from a proposal you receive, ask. They are the parts that get quietly dropped.

01
Design of every unique page
Not just a homepage. Each unique template designed and approved before development begins.
02
Mobile as the primary view
Most Lebanese traffic is mobile. Mobile layouts should be designed, not left as a side effect of the desktop design.
03
Content loading
Who writes the copy, who translates it, who loads it, and how many pages are included. This is the most common gap in cheap quotes.
04
Hosting, email and SSL
Where the site will live, who pays for it, what it costs annually, and whether email is included and separated from hosting.
05
Launch technicals
Redirects from the old site, metadata, sitemap, Search Console, analytics and conversion tracking.
06
Handover and ownership
Written confirmation that all accounts are in your name and every credential is handed to you at launch.

Specific to buying a website in Lebanon.

Very cheap quotes are template quotes
A few hundred dollars buys a marketplace template with your logo dropped in. That can be fine for a first site, but you should know that is what you are buying.
Ask who registers the domain
Domains registered under a developer’s personal account are the single most common problem we are asked to unpick. It should always be in your company name.
Budget for hosting and email
These are annual running costs, not one-off. A quote that does not mention them has left something out that you will pay for later.
Plan the languages now
Adding Arabic to a site that was not structured for it costs more than building it in from the start, even if you launch in English only.
Payment in stages
Milestone payments are normal and protect both sides. Full payment up front, or nothing until launch, both create bad incentives.
Content is the usual delay
Projects here slip on content, not code. If you know copy and photos will be slow, tell the agency at the start so the plan accounts for it.
What it costs

What a website costs here.

We do not publish a price list, because the same page count can be a three-week or a three-month project. These are the three factors that decide the number.

Scale
Unique page designs
Count templates, not pages. Twenty product pages using one design is one design; five different landing layouts is five.
Function
What it has to do
A brochure site, a site with bookings, and a store with payments and stock are three different classes of project.
Support needed

Questions

Getting a website in Lebanon: common questions

How much does a website cost in Lebanon?

It ranges widely, from a few hundred dollars for a template with your logo on it to a substantial figure for a custom build with integrations. Rather than quote a range that means nothing, we scope your specific project and give one fixed, itemised price.

How long will it take?

Six to ten weeks is typical for a business website. Stores take longer, mainly because of merchant account approval and catalogue preparation. The most common cause of delay in either case is waiting for content.

What do I need to prepare?

A clear statement of what the site is for, your logo and brand files, photography if you have it, product or service information, and one person in your team empowered to give feedback and approve. We provide a content checklist at kickoff.

Do I pay everything up front?

No. Payment is staged against milestones, typically at kickoff, at design approval and at launch. That keeps both sides committed to the schedule.

What if I already have a website?

Send us the URL. We will tell you whether it is worth improving or rebuilding, and what carries over. Existing rankings and traffic can be preserved with proper redirects, so a rebuild does not have to reset your search position.

Can I update the site myself afterwards?

Yes. We build on a CMS your team can use and train you at handover. If you would rather not, we can handle changes inside a support plan.
